There are many lenses I can look through.
My identity. My ego. My story. My memories.
If I am not consciously aware, they are what I look through when I am looking at the present moment.
By default, they are what cover my awareness to interpret reality.
If I am consciously aware, then I can see the lenses of identity, ego, story, memories.
These lenses are not good or bad, right or wrong.
But they are static, inflexible, mechanical.
They are from the past. They were created in the past. Some are inherited relics of a bygone time.
The present moment is a living thing.
To be with a living thing, one must also be alive, not static, inflexible, mechanical.
To express aliveness, one must approach the present without any lenses, and respond without a "method".
Aliveness is conscious awareness of the present moment without the past interfering.
Aliveness is seeing reality, being one with reality, responding to reality, creating reality.
